Its patriotic but with some real energy to it, not the stiff kind you see on generic holiday stuff. I get messages asking about this one more than most of the other patriotic designs in the shop, and last 4th of July it was one of the first I had to restock after a busy week. Lay cutaway under it on knit fabrics, the splatter points have a lot of directional fill changes and thats where puckering tends to happen. Pop it on a 5-inch hoop at the 4-inch size for a clean run. Three colors, 5 hoop sizes between 3 and 7 inches.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eOn woven cotton it stitches beautifully without any extra backing. The satin-style fill on the star section comes out with a nice sheen that catches the light differently from the striped side, which I really like at the 6 and 7 inch sizes.
