baby-elephant-bubble
Baby Elephant Bubble Embroidery Design, Kawaii Nursery Pattern, Instant Download

The baby elephant is lying on its tummy, round little body settled flat, trunk curled up and pointing skyward. Out of that trunk come four pink soap bubbles, different sizes, floating up in a loose cluster. The elephants huge round eye has that kawaii sparkle dot in it and the ears are oversized and bubble-gum pink on the inside, which is what makes it read so soft. Tiny tail tuft on the back. Little pink toe pads. Its kinda just the most relaxed lil elephant you ever seen.

Colour-wise its mostly sky blue for the body, bubblegum pink for the ears and bubbles, and white for the sparkle and the inside of the bubble circles. The outlines are kept light and thin so the whole thing stays gentle rather than cartoony-loud. Stitch count goes from about 11,400 on the 3 in baseline size up to 37k on the biggest 7.5-inch, which is a fair amount of stitching but the satin fills on the bubble spheres are what push the count up at the larger end.

I made this one for a baby boutique owner who was digitising a whole elephant nursery set. She wanted the bubbles specifically, said it reminded her of bath time. I been selling it pretty steadily since last christmas actually, alot of new mums buying it for gender-neutral nurseries because the blue-and-pink combo works as neither one thing nor the other. One customer sewed it onto a matching set of white cotton bibs and sleep sacks, sent photos and it was genuinely adorable.

Stitch onto white or soft cream cotton for the cleanest read on both the blue body and the pink bubbles. It also looks lovely on pale grey jersey for a onesie, the colours pop nicely against the neutral ground. Skip anything too saturated because youll lose the soft sky-blue body. Try the 6-inch on a nursery cushion or a cot bumper panel. Pop the 3.5-in face on a bib or the pocket of a sleep gown.

Use cutaway stabiliser on jersey and stretchy fabrics since the satin bubble fills need proper backing or they pucker at the edges. On stable cotton twill you can go with a medium tearaway. Hoop tight, especially on the bigger sizes. Slow your machine speed slightly on the bubble outlines. Dont rush the fill sections. Message me a chat if anything looks off when stitchin it out and ill take a look.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0699/6262/9270/files/CuteBabyElephantBubbleEmbroideryDesign.png?v=1778489060
