Skip charcoal or dark navy because the dark word fills just disappear into the ground. Works beautifully on a hemp tote front, an orange cotton apron, a white linen trick-or-treat bag. The block letters need it, especially the wide slab serifs at the top. Slow your machine down about 20% for the dense purple section because wide fills can drag on thick canvas.
