Cotton sateen, soft linen, or a mid-weight twill keep the petal detail crisp without distortion. But avoid stretchy jersey, the long satin runs across the petals will pucker if fabric pulls. Hoop firmly and back it with a no-show mesh cutaway, the design isnt super dense but the colour changes do build up tension across the bouquet.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ePick a backing colour that lets the pastels show. White, cream, oatmeal or soft mint reads beautifully. So if you are doing a darker cotton, switch to slightly punchier thread shades or the lavender will basically vanish.
