Charcoal canvas or cream twill also work if you want the boot to contrast hard. Avoid dark navy because the charcoal shadow stitching above the heel edge disappears and the boot looks flat. Use cutaway under denim and canvas at the larger sizes, the 45k stitch count on the biggest will pucker without it.
