I built this in my usual software and mapped the underlay to follow the body length, horizontal underlay runs along the spine direction so the satin fill lays flat even on the longer body section. That matters alot on a long narrow shape because pull distortion can make the body look crooked if the underlay isnt directional.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBest on kraft canvas, waxed cotton, or medium denim. Avoid anything too stretchy, the long body shape needs dimensional stability or it bows. Use a full-coverage cutaway stabiliser and hoop the fabric firm, not loose.
