Use cutaway stabiliser on anything with stretch, the density at 943 is moderate to heavy and needs the support. On firm woven cotton or canvas a medium cutaway keeps it stable without overkill. Avoid rushing the machine through the fur layers on the face, those are where suprised-looking distortions show up if the bobbin tension drifts.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eRun the ear detail sections at medium speed and you can let the face fill go a bit faster. The muzzle lighter tones stitch after the main grey body, so make sure your hoop isnt moving between colour changes. Hoop it firm and leave it alone.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eCream, oatmeal, natural canvas, white, sage or dusty rose all work as base fabrics. One customer last spring stitched the 5-in across a dusty rose linen apron for her daughter who keeps donkeys.
