Use a tearaway only on tightly woven canvas where nothing moves. Add topping on terry cloth or fleece or the tatami fill on those big letters sinks into the pile and gets muddy. Pop this on a natural linen table runner at the 5 inch size and the charcoal and red against cream linen looks sharp without being garish. The bobbin tension matters here because the black satin outline around the lettering is doing alot of the visual work, so if its pulling youll see it immediately.
