Tearaway is fine for stiff woven fabrics that wont stretch or shift. Use a sharp size 75 or 80 needle for the thin line sections, a dull needle will drag on the fine satin cord paths and cause skipped stitches.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eStitch on white, cream, or light grey cotton or linen for the best contrast with the black linework. The open-style skeleton hand reads poorly on dark fabric because the thin lines disappear.
