Stitch range is 27,184 at the smallest size up to 68,956 at the largest, so you need a machine that can handle alot of thread changes on the bigger sizes. Four colour changes total, sixty two trims.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAnd because of the density on this one, I'd recommend cutaway stabiliser on the back rather than tearaway. The feather fills are thick and directional, tearaway has a tendency to pull the edges slightly when you remove it. Stitch this on 14-count canvas, a heavy cotton drill jacket, or denim and youll get sharp crisp feather edges. Avoid thin poly blends at the larger sizes, the density will cause puckering without proper hooped stabiliser underneath.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eOne customer ran the mid 4.5 in on a sports team cap last spring and said the eye detail came out sharper than they expected at that scale. Add a stabiliser topping on darker hat fabrics so the grey feathers read clearly against the cap colour. Skip the topping on light khaki or cream, it wont need it.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFive sizes from 3.06 by 3.5 inches up to 6.56 by 7.5 inches. Best on jacket backs, bag panels, team caps, and denim shirt yokes.
