Slow down for those sections, rushing bean stitch shows in the finished piece. Use a medium-weight cutaway under quilting cotton or a tearaway under fleece, keep the hoop tension even so the satin starfish arms dont pucker on the outer tips. A customer last summer had the starfish arm tips puckering and it was a hoop tension issue, not the file, tighten up before the satin sections start.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWhite, soft cream or pale aqua fabric suits this best. Pale blue or seafoam gives it an underwater-backdrop feel straight away. Avoid heavy dark fabrics, the lavender bubble detail disappears completely.
