my-mom-era
In My Mom Era Embroidery Design, Instant Download

In My Mom Era in proper chunky retro bubble lettering, three rows stacked. The top row and bottom row both stitch in purple-violet. The middle row, Mom, hits in hot pink and its the biggest row so it reads first. The two daisy flowers are what make this one special. A yellow daisy sits tucked in the upper row like its replacing a letter with a flower head. A teal daisy slots in lower down, same idea. Both daisies have tiny satin petals and their own colour so they pop against the bold text.

Six colours total. Purple-violet for the outer rows, hot pink for the centre row. Yellow daisy with a light yellow centre, teal daisy in that proper blue-green. All the lettering is satin fill with good coverage, around 10k stitches at 3 inches and going up to about 36k on the 7 inch size. Digitised in Wilcom EmbroideryStudio so the bubble fill is solid without the pockmarks you get on cheaper digitising.

This one blew up last mothers day and I honestly couldnt keep up with the enquiries. People keep ordering it for sweatshirts, tote bags and baseball caps. One customer told me she put it on a cream sweatshirt for her mum who is obsessed with the whole era trend thing and her mum literally cried when she opened it. So yeah, it lands really well as a gift. I still sell a lot of this outside mothers day too because its just a fun trendy design.

White, cream and black all work really well. On black the pink and violet get that neon pop that looks amazing on sweatshirts and hoodies. On white or cream itll read softer and more pastel. Avoid navy or dark grey because the purple-violet letters blend in and you lose the contrast. Cotton fleece for sweatshirts is a great match for the chunky lettering style, try it on a crewneck first.

Back with a poly cutaway behind fleece and jersey, the satin fill needs proper support or it tunnels. Hoop tight. Six colour changes so plan your thread loading before you start. The bubble letters have good density so slow down slightly on the 7 inch if your machine struggles with satin. Dm me if anything about the colour sequence looks off in your software and ill walk you through it.
