The gnome body uses dense satin columns for the hat and coat sections, directional fill for the braids, and a fine underlay run under the skin tones to stop the knit from poking through.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAnd because this has alot of small detail elements, the syringe and clipboard benefit from a light cutaway stabiliser on stretchy fabrics. On a stable cotton or canvas you can get away with medium-weight tearaway. The largest size runs to 6.23 inches wide by 7.5 inches tall at 46,670 stitches, so hoop accordingly. Use a 75\/11 needle on quilting cotton, or bump to a 90\/14 if youre going into denim or thick fleece.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eOne customer ordered the 4-inch size on a navy blue scrub top for their kids birthday and said it came out way better than they expected at that scale. The ECG squiggle on the clipboard was still clean and readable. Best results Ive seen are on light grey and white fabric where the teal really pops against the background.
