The trunk itself is shaded with horizontal lines mimicking the rough bark texture of a real palm. Just clean coastal style. The pink ribbon was her idea aswell, kinda just to soften it up for her bridesmaid trip totes. Now Leading into june one cruise ship gift shop bought a bunch of these for resort tote runs.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eStitch the largest 7.5-inch on a cream canvas tote front, the tree shape stays narrow so it loves vertical-format gifts. Pop the smaller 3.5-inch on a beach hat brim or a cotton zip pouch. Skip very dark navy or black, the trunk colour gets lost without a lighter ground. Sage green works, oatmeal works, soft butter yellow works real nice. Lil tip from me, it sews great on a 100% cotton waffle towel for the pool bag. Use a tear-away stabiliser for woven cotton, mesh cutaway for stretchy jersey.
