Its bold and feminine and I was suprised how well the print reads at even the smaller hoop sizes.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFive sizes in the file going from 2.98 inches wide up to 6.38 inches, with stitches running from 16,542 to 41,290 at the largest. Three colours: two pinks and black. Density is 862 which puts it in the medium-firm range, Wilcom EmbroideryStudio routed the leopard spot elements to minimise jump threads inside the fill areas. Use a firm cutaway stabiliser on anything other than woven cotton, the satin-based leopard shapes need that anchor or they can lift at the bobbin side. Skip tearaway entirely on terry cloth or fleece.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe most common question I get is whether the spots actually look like a proper leopard print or just random shapes. On smooth cotton twill they read cleanly with no topping needed. Add a water-soluble topping on any textured surface and run your tension at a normal setting. A customer stitched the 4-inch version on a pink terry cloth baby towel last month and it came out exactly right once they added the topping layer. Stitch a test piece first if youre working on an expensive fabric, specially at the large 6-inch size where the spot density is highest.
