The 7.5 inch version runs 34,893 stitches, which is a fair bit, most of that coming from the dense petal coverage and the layered tatami fill in the centre. Use a cutaway stabiliser for this one, the centre section has multiple underlay passes and if the fabric moves during hooping the leopard spots wont sit flat. Medium-weight cotton twill, canvas or denim all hoop well. I digitised this in Wilcom with each ribbon petal getting its own directional angle so theyre not all stitching the same direction.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn february a customer ordered this and had it stitched in the 5.5 inch size on pink sweatshirts for a charity fundraiser at her workplace. She was suprised how much detail showed at that size, which is what you get when the underlay work is solid. The 3.5 inch fits on hat panels or small accessories. Stitch on white or pale pink cotton for the softest look, or charcoal grey for contrast. The red hearts pop best against white or cream fabric.
