Hoop with cutaway stabiliser on anything stretchy, tearaway works fine on stable wovens like cotton or denim. The white body section has a heavier satin fill so make sure your bobbin tension is set before you start.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eA customer sent me a photo last october of this one stitched onto a kids backpack in black canvas, and honestly the rainbow pop against that dark background was wild. Works really well on navy, black or charcoal so the colours dont wash out. Ive also seen it on white fleece kids hoodies and the fluffy body stitching kind of blends with the fabric texture in a really nice way.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ePick the 4.86 inch size for a chest pocket placement or hat brim, and go for the full 7.9 inch if youre doing a back panel or tote bag centrepiece. Skip the middle sizes if youre working with a 4x4 hoop since its tight. Best results on cotton twill, denim or canvas where the 10 colour changes can sit nice and flat.
