The red hearts use a dense satin fill, not just an outline, so they read as proper solid hearts even at the 3-inch size. 2 colours only: red and black, which keeps thread changes to one stop mid-hoop. One customer stitched the 5-in run on a navy cotton tote last year and messaged me to say it looked better on dark than she expected.
