Use a tearaway stabiliser for most wovens at this stitch weight, thats usually enough. Skip the dense cutaway you'd use for filled designs, the outline doesnt need it. Pop the 4 inch chest on a charcoal tea towel corner and it reads perfectly against the dark fabric.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBlack thread works on any colour because the outline picks up against both light and dark backgrounds.
