The white cloud section stitches first and its dense. Use a topping on fleece or terry to stop those satin stitches sinking into the pile. Pick a 75\/11 needle for wovens, bump to 90\/14 on thick fleece. Add a water-soluble topping on minky or velboa and the white will stitch clean. I sold quite a few of these last summer to people doing nursery setups and one customer sent me a photo of it stitched on a pale yellow quilted wall hanging for a rainbow-themed nursery room, it looked genuinely lovely.
