Drop it on a black canvas apron in white thread and it absolutely pops. Also goes on cream and oatmeal coloured fabric in black thread where the graphic contrast does the heavy lifting. Avoid mid-grey fabric, the black just disappears at distance.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ePlace tearaway under stable woven cotton or canvas. Switch to cutaway if youre hooping jersey or fleece because the letter fills pull on stretch. Hoop tight on the bigger sizes, loose hooping on blocky satin fill causes puckering around the corners of the letters.
