Abstract florals are one of my best sellers honestly, and this one I think is the strongest of the bunch. The petals radiate out unevenly which is intentional, it gives the whole thing that hand-drawn botanical feel rather than a clipart circle. Two colours, the petals in one tone and the dense circular centre in a contrasting shade. The centre has a really tight fill at density 617, so its almost raised-looking when youve stitched it out on cotton.
Five sizes from 2.83 by 3.5 inches up to 6.07 by 7.49 inches, stitch count goes from 10227 at the small end all the way up to 28072 on the largest. Use cutaway on knit base fabrics. Run a firm tearaway under woven cotton or linen. The digitising runs petals first, then the centre fill drops in over the top, so thread order matters. Dont swap the sequence or youll get bleed at the petal edges.
One customer was suprised by how much texture the centre had when she recieved her sample back from her test run last week. She used the 4-in build on a linen tote and the contrast between the lighter petals and the dark dense centre really popped. Skip the topping on smooth linen but add it on velvet or terry towel or the colour zones blur. Pop the 5 inch on a plain white cotton cushion if you want the contrast to read bold. Dm me if you need advice on swapping the two colours around and Ill walk you through it.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Linen tote bags with botanical accent designStitch the 4 inch build centred on a natural linen tote using firm tearaway on the flat woven base.
- Floral accent on denim jacket pocket or sleevePop the 3 inch onto a denim jacket front pocket area with cutaway stabiliser to handle the stiff weave.
- Cotton cushion or pillow cover centrepieceRun the 5 inch on a plain white cotton cushion cover, the high density centre reads beautifully at this size.
- Spring market tote or bag designUse the 4 inch on a canvas spring market tote, single-pass no colour swaps mid-run.
- Women's shirt or blouse chest detailThe 3 inch works well on a blouse chest area where you want a subtle floral detail without dominating.
- Botanical wall hoop art on natural linenStretch natural linen on a 7-in hoop run and stitch the 5 inch version for a bold wall art piece.
- Floral gift bag or pouch for fabric shopsStitch the 3 inch on a small cotton pouch or gift bag for a clean botanical gift shop look.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
