So this is the gothic valentines piece, a dense fill skull on a 7.5 inch panel with two skeleton hands lifted up over the eye sockets in a peek a boo gesture. Each eye socket has a pink heart filled in where the pupil would sit, with a tiny white satin highlight on each so they catch the light like glossy candy. The words all you need arch above in chunky caps, is love arches below.

And the design isnt built for subtle, its built for impact. Skull dome carries a dense grey and white satin fill with black outline detail along the cracks and teeth. The bony fingers have small knuckle highlights so they read 3d not flat, and the chunky letters fill solid black for crisp readability across the room.

4 thread colours total, white, grey, black and pink. Stitch counts climb hard since the fills are dense, smallest 3.5 inch hits 26k and the 7.5 wide cap tops out at 58k. Run the larger sizes on a slower machine setting if your home units thready over 50k.

I get messages every january from valentines market sellers, this designs become the go to for the boyfriend gift booth at gothic flea markets honestly. One customer told me she sells more of these than the rose hearts at her stall, mostly to buyers in their 20s and 30s.

Stitch on cotton, denim, fleece and twill. Skip thin polyester satin and chiffon since the heavy fill will pucker. Use a cutaway stabiliser, the dense panel demands firm backing or the dome distorts. Pre wash dark fabric once before hooping so the white threads dont pick up dye bleed.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
