This one is short and sweet. After a customer in the UK requested a beatles-inspired design for her partners valentines day surprise last winter, I sketched the lettering out in modern script and threaded a tiny music staff and treble clef through the layout. The two red hearts came in as a final detail. Clean piece.
Pack contains 5 sizes from across widths of 3.51 to 7.51 wide. Stitch counts run 8,501 on from the chest 3.5 to 17,635 on the largest hoop. Only 2 colours, black for the script lettering and music notation, red for the two heart accents. Density sits at 352 spi, which is intentionally light because the design is mostly fine script line work that needs breathing room, not solid fill. Stitches out fast on most home machines, alright for last-minute valentine gifts. Quick run for the visual return. Thats kinda the magic of the line weight. Heres a thing nobody warns you about. Sticking with 40-weight poly for the pop. Stitches up quickly for its impact. Its fast to stitch for what it returns.
Use a light Cutaway, snug hoop, then add a sharp 80/12 embroidery needle in. Run the black script first, then the stave clef treble and on top, finally red two the hearts as the accent topstitch. Skip topping unless youre running terry or fleece.
One color decision worth flagging. The hearts can swap to pink or coral if red is too bold for the recipient. I get messages from customers who pair this with a coordinating heart border or initials underneath, both look great. After hooping cleanly the script stays sharp through repeat washes on cotton tees and tote bags. Works well as a left chest or centre placement.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Valentine tee left chestValentine tee left chest mark for the UK customer who first asked for a Beatles-inspired surprise gift; the script lays flat through wash cycles.
- Tote bag valentine frontCanvas tote-bag front for a music-shop owner who wanted something subtle for staff; poly thread handles daily customer-interaction wear.
- Pillow cover centreReads as quietly romantic rather than over-sweet, which a record-shop manager flagged when he ordered six linen pillow covers for the back room.
- Sweatshirt centre printCotton sweatshirt centred for an anniversary surprise, the line-weight reads even at the largest size without the script going thick.
- Card holder fabric pocketmakes the design land right on a small fabric card-holder pocket, a sharp needle holds the fine script edges clean at the tiny scale.
- Quilt sampler centreQuilt-sampler block centre framed with red-and-pink patchwork borders for a valentines anniversary bedspread my customer pieced last winter.
- Apron front centreLinen apron front centred two inches above the lower hem; the music staff threads cleanly across the fabric without crowding seam stitching.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
