Its a pineapple and a sun and three birds and hot pink aloha script, all crammed together in the best possible way. The pineapple body sits centre, that crosshatch diamond pattern done in warm orange. Behind it on the left a half-sun pokes out with those pointed orange-red satin rays fanning wide. Perched above is a fat dark green crown, each leaf rendered with directional stitching so the individual fronds actually separate and read as leaves. Three small black birds fly out to the right like theyre headed straight off the design into open sky.
That sweeping pink script across the bottom is thick satin column strokes with big brush-lettering loops and swoops. Its the colour that anchors everything. Pop it on a white cotton tee and the pink just jumps out. Try natural linen and the orange and green deepen nicely. Im a bit suprised by how well it reads on cream canvas too, something about the whole palette against an oatmeal background hits really different.
I put this one together for a customer last july who runs a luau themed craft stall. She wanted something for tote bags and sun hats that wouldnt look cheap. She sent me photos of the 6-inch run on a natural cotton tote and honestly it looked like a proper resort shop item. Since then I get alot of orders from beach house shops and vacation rental gift boxes, which I never expected.
Five sizes from 3 inches reaching 7.01 inches, so you can go pocket-size on a hat or gift bag and go big on a beach towel or tote. Stitch count runs from 4,024 on the smallest up to 9,648 on the largest. Density is low so it stitches out gentle on lightweight fabrics. Lay a tearaway on woven cotton and linen. If youre doing stretchy jersey swap to a cutaway and add topping over the aloha script so those satin letters dont sink into the fibres.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Luau party host shirts and apronsRun the 6-in piece on a white linen apron for a backyard luau host and pair with a matching tote. Looks cohesive.
- Beach tote bags and market shoppersPop the 5-inch on a craft-show tote for a beach market shopper that reads resort-quality rather than craft-fair.
- Summer sun hat embroideryUse the 3-inch version centred on the front panel of a wide-brim sun hat stitched on a stabilised buckram band.
- Vacation rental welcome gift pouchesEmbroider the 4-inch on a cotton muslin drawstring pouch and fill it with sunscreen sachets and lip balm for vacation rental guests.
- Tropical birthday party favour bagsRun the 5-inch on kraft-coloured cotton bags as party favours at a tropical birthday and stuff em with sweets.
- Kids beach coverup and rash guardHoop the small 3-inch on the chest of a toddler beach coverup for a sweet summer look that washes great in cotton.
- Linen table napkins for summer entertainingStitch onto the corner of a white linen napkin set for summer table settings. The hot pink pops against white cloth.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
