Worked up this alpaca mum and baby pair and honestly its the most over-the-top cute thing I've put out. The mum alpaca is done in soft pink fluffy fill with a rose flower on her head, dramatic eyelashes and big blue and purple eyes. Shes holding the tiny white baby alpaca in front of her, the baby has teal eyes and a lil butterfly floating beside it. Both figures use a mix of pink, cream and peach tones with deep jewel-tone eye accents. Very kawaii, very nursery, not realy designed for someone wanting a realistic animal.

11 colours, 10 colour changes, 5 sizes from 3.51 inches spanning 7.51 inches. Stitch count is 25,266 at the smallest and goes up to 63,184 on the largest, which is a lot. The density at 1,402 means this needs a proper cutaway stabiliser, dont try tearaway on anything stretchy or youll get distortion in the fluffy fill sections. Underlay on the mums body and the baby section keeps the pink satin fills from sinking into minky or fleece fabrics. Topping on any textured fabric aswell.

A customer ordered 3 colours worth of this design for a baby shower gift set last month, one on a muslin wrap, one on a bib and one on a burp cloth, and she told me they looked gorgeous as a matching set. The eyelash detail is fine so run your machine at a slower speed through those sections to keep the black outline clean.

Pick the medium size for a onesie chest placement. Use the large on a cushion cover or nursery wall hoop. Pair with a name or initial below in a simple font for a personalised newborn gift that stands out from the usual.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
