The football sits at that natural tilted angle you see when someone picks the ball up before a throw. The leather body is a rich warm brown with darker brown shading that gives it actual roundness, not just a flat oval. White lace runs up the middle with those short crossbar stitches, and on each side theres a grey-silver stripe panel cutting across. Six colours including black for the outline, which very cements the whole shape together at any size.
I get messages from football mums about this one, especially around september when the season kicks off here. One customer ordered nine sizes in a single go because she was customising the whole youth league team line. She needed something that'd work on jerseys down to small youth chest patches and the 2.9-inch smallest size did the job fine. The density on the big version hits 51k stitches so its a meaty file, the detail in the shading is what justifies it.
Stitch it on navy, charcoal, black or forest green fabric for the full game-day look. The browns and whites pop well against dark fabric. Avoid tan or caramel coloured cloth because the ball body blends in. The grey stripe panels also disappear on pale grey so the darker the ground the better. Use a cutaway stabiliser, the density is above 1,100 and the leather fill sections use directional stitching so youll want solid backing. Slow down your machine on the lace crossing stitches in the centre, those narrow white satin columns need good bobbin tension to come out clean. Skip jersey on the 6-inch size aswell, 51k on stretch fabric wont sit flat without heavy cutaway.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
