Row of soldier silhouettes under a distressed flag, dense fill design that reads more like a tribute than a graphic. Its a row of solid black soldier silhouettes at the base, a few with arms raised, actually reads like a memorial image. Above them the distressed flag fills out in red horizontal stripes with rough edges and a blue canton in the upper left corner with white star shapes scattered through it. Four colours: black, blue, white, red. Thats it.
Five sizes from 2.42 inches up to 4.84 wide, stitch counts running from 21,988 to 53,755 at the large end. Density is 1388, which is heavy, so dont use tearaway under this. I get messages from people asking if tearaway works on canvas and it doesnt hold reliably at this density. Use a solid cutaway stabiliser, hoop it tight, and youre good. Digitised in industry-grade software.
Stitch on medium-weight woven fabric like canvas or denim for best results. Add a topping layer on any textured surface so the flag stripe lines stay crisp. Avoid stretchy knits at the 4.84-inch size, the fill density will pull and distort the silhouette edges. The satin fill sections run directionally so keep your machine speed consistent through the longer column runs. A customer stitched this on a denim back yoke panel last spring and it came out as a proper tribute piece, which is exactly what this was built for.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
