Three colours, covers 3 inch up through 7 inch, built as the matching kids companion to American Mama. American sits at the top in the same chunky red cursive, but theres a tiny red star above the i this time which makes it feel slightly younger and more playful than the adult version. Below that, mini stacks four rows in a tall gothic style: thin outline at the top, then solid royal blue packed with white stars and small circular dot accents over the i letters, then bolder outline rows beneath.

The extra colour here is a brighter royal blue for the filled rows, its a noticeably different shade to dark navy so dont swap them or the contrast falls apart. Stick tearaway underneath cotton onesies and small shirts, it pulls away cleanly without distorting the thinner outline letters. Hoop tight on small items, at 3 inches those tiny circle markers above the i letters blur fast if the fabric shifts at all. Skip dark or very busy fabric prints, the design needs a clean light background to read properly at kids garment sizes.

I started getting requests for this one almost immediately after I listed American Mama back in April, so I made them as a proper pair. They're sized to match at the same inch setting, and the stitch counts are light enough that most home machines handle all five sizes without issue.
