This angel girl is simple. Two colours, a gently flowing dress, spread wings and a small halo. The figure stands or floats slightly, arms out in that open welcoming pose, and the whole thing is done in clean line-and-fill style rather than a heavy satin block. At just 6,752 stitches in the smallest size and up to 17,320 in the largest, its a quick stitch compared to my busier multi-colour designs and it suits that quiet quality the subject has.

The dress uses a light tatami fill with the outline as the defining edge, so it doesnt look stiff or overfilled. The wings have a similar treatment, satin outline with a lighter interior fill so they look airy and not dense. The halo is the only really bold element, a simple golden circle sitting just above her head. Only 2 colour changes in this one which means less thread swapping and faster stitching time.

Five sizes from 3.5 inches wide 7.5 piece. Its one I sell around christmas time a lot but people order it year round. A lot of customers ask for this for memorial projects, baby loss remembrance pieces and christmas tree decoration patches all through the year. Last december I had orders for this on white satin ribbon and cream linen ornaments, and it looks genuinely delicate and lovely on both.

Stitch on cream, white or ivory fabric to let the two-colour palette read clearly. Works nicely on linen, cotton, satin and even organza if youre making something dressier. Use tearaway stabiliser on firm wovens and a water-soluble topping on anything with any texture. Skip dark fabrics, the two light colours will disappear completely against anything darker than pale grey.

Ok so whether this is for a christmas project, a little memorial piece or a nursery item, the simplicity of the design is what makes it work for so many occasions.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
