This is the one for people who bring a book to a halloween party and find a corner. The ghost sits in a mustard armchair, round and unbothered, eyes closed in full reading mode, gripping a dark book with both lil hands. A black cat sleeps curled at the base of the chair. Three pumpkins clustered to the left, a single tall candle flickering beside the armrest. Bats fly in the upper corners and a spiderweb stretches across the full background width.

And then the text. The words arch across the top and mirror at the bottom, both in orange bubble-letter satin fills with black outlines. Its really well balanced as a badge-style composition and the circular framing makes it read clean at smaller sizes aswell. 7 colours, 9 sizes, 3 in through 7.5 inches. Biggest just over 40k stitches, which is substantial. The web background comes through in light outline fill so it doesnt crowd the ghost at the centre.

People have been buying this all year not just october. Book clubs use it. Library tote orders. Friends getting it on sweatshirts for a group gift. Its a design that realy says something about a person and they know it immediately.

Hoop on a black sweatshirt or charcoal cotton for best contrast. The orange text pops on dark fabric better than on cream. Use firm cutaway stabiliser beneath jersey knit or the bubble-letter fills will tunnel. Skip anything too stretchy at the 7-inch size, theres alot going on at 40k stitches and jersey doesnt love it.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
