Worked up an aqua skull design with four big pink roses dripping around it and honestly its one of my favourites in the gothic floral category. The skull faces forward in this bright pool-water aqua, eyes done as concentric target rings, teeth grinning across the bottom. Four pink roses sit around the skull, one on each corner basically, and theres these wet drippy paint trails running off each petal so it looks like the colour is still bleeding down the fabric.
Five thread colours doing alot of work. Bright aqua teal fills the skull face, soft pink covers the rose petals with darker pink shading lines and drip trails coming off. Deep teal green handles the leaves, heavy black outlines wrap everything, and white catches the tooth detail and a few highlights.
I made this one for a customer who wanted something for her alt boutique merch run last halloween. Im glad I did because its turned into the design my younger customers keep asking for, kinda the year round alt fashion piece more than a strict october one.
Five sizes available from 3.62 inch up to 6.83 inch tall. The bigger sizes really show off the drip detail and the target eyes, anything under 4 inches the drip trails get a bit busy so I would stick to the mid range for chest hits.
Stitches best on darker solid fabrics where the aqua pops, black hoodies and charcoal denim look unreal. Pop a tearaway behind heavy woven cotton, swap to mesh cutaway for any sweatshirt fleece. Skip light pastel backgrounds because the soft pink rose drips wont read against them. Theres alot of stitches in this one so let your machine rest between the black and pink colour swaps. Text a quick message if the download fails and Ill fix it.
