Took me a while to get right. The fox is basically hollow and what you see inside is a pine forest at dusk, stitched at different densities so it reads as actual depth. Theres a pale aqua sky behind a line of dark spruce, and a strip of lime-green meadow sits right across the belly. People stitch it and then others stand there trying to figure out what they're looking at before it clicks.

Eight colors build up inside the silhouette: sharp chartreuse for the treetops, two teal and navy shades for forest depth, powder blue for the open sky, white face detail, and dense black as the finishing shell. Use a medium-weight cutaway stabiliser, its got too many fill layers to trust a tearaway here. Hoop it tight and let the machine run slow through the densest cloud sections. Stitch the outline last and dont skip the underlay passes or the layered fills won't sit flat.

A customer picked this up last autumn for a tote she was making for her wildlife photography friend, wanted something that felt like real art rather than a clip-art animal. Runs from 4.49 inches up to 8.49 inches across nine sizes. Holler at me if anything looks off and I'll sort it.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Tote bags and canvas shoppers for wildlife or outdoor enthusiastsThe large 8.5-inch size fills a tote front panel beautifully and holds detail even in woven canvas.
  • Jean jacket back patches and denim sleevesDenim gives the layered forest colors real contrast and the black outline pops sharply on indigo.
  • framed wall display for a nature-themed living room or studyHooped on natural linen in a 10-inch hoop it reads like a piece of wall art, not a craft project.
  • Throw pillow covers in linen or canvas fabricDense fill stitches hold up well on pillow covers that see regular handling and washing.
  • Wildlife photography club shirts and event gearClub shirts look sharp with the 5-in build on the chest left or as a full sleeve centerpiece.
  • Kids backpacks and school bags with a nature themeSmaller sizes stitch cleanly on nylon backpack panels; the dense coverage doesnt shift on slick fabric.
  • Woodland nursery decor hooped on cotton twillNatural cotton twill gives the aqua sky tones a warm base and the design reads beautifully framed on the wall.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
