The text is split across three tiers and thats really what gives it character. Top line is Ask Me in a flowing black script, the kinda handwriting style where the letters have those long looping tails. Then ABOUT MY hits in the middle in these big chunky red block caps that take up most of the width. Bottom line is the word dog in black cursive but the letter o is actually a paw print, solid black with a lil heart cut out of the centre pad. Three small red hearts float above some of the ascenders on the top line too.

Two colours total: black thread for the script and cursive sections, red for the slab caps. The satin fill on those ABOUT MY letters stitches out dense and smooth which makes the red really pop against whatever fabric youre working on. The paw detail stitches around 7,200 stitches at the smallest size and gets up to just over 20,000 at the largest 6.67 inch wide version.

One customer ordered this on a whole run of tote bags for a rescue dog fundraiser, said she got alot of comments from strangers asking about the design before she even handed them out. I thought that was pretty great. The digitising was done in industry tools which keeps the stitch density balanced so the fill sections dont get stiff or puckered.

Lay medium cutaway under on stretchy fabrics like tees or hoodies, tearaway works fine on canvas totes and denim. Hoop tight and Pop the topping down on any textured fabric so the slab fill doesnt sink into the pile. Skip thin silky material for the larger sizes since the density can cause puckering.

Behind every stitch

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
