Big chunky rounded letters spell out AUNTIE and each one comes in a different colour. You get orange going into red, then a hot-pink N, pink T, lavender I, and a soft blue-purple E at the end. The font has that groovy look from the 70s, not sharp or serif at all. Each letter is a solid satin-fill block so the thread density is really satisfying to stitch and looks plush on the finished piece.

And its the flowers that make this design. Sitting right on top of the letters on short green stems, you get a mix of five flower types: a pale pink daisy, a yellow black-eyed susan, a peach cosmos sitting tallest in the middle, a sage-green outlined tulip, and a little yellow daisy on the right. Leaves in two shades of green fill the gaps between stems. The whole floral row is roughly the same width as the letters so nothing looks unbalanced, it just reads as a little garden growing out of the word.

Im a bit obsessed with how this one looks on a pale linen tote. The flower row sits above the centre of the bag and the rainbow letters pop without being garish. Last month a customer told me they put the 7-inch on a front-pouch hoodie for their sisters birthday and it looked like something from a proper boutique. Thats the kind of reaction you want on a gift item.

Stitch it on light or white fabric so the full ten-colour palette lands properly. Best results on woven cotton, canvas, or a structured tote. Run a woven cutaway stabiliser underneath to keep the dense satin letterforms from pulling, and use a topping on any fabric with texture to stop the florets sinking into the weave. Hoop snug and let the underlay do its job before the fill colours go down.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
