Five colours, 7537 stitches, 3.5 inches wide by 1.63 tall, thats a nice compact size for a left-chest placement or a hem accent. I make alot of autumn designs but I keep coming back to the simple leaf cluster format because customers actually use it on everything, napkins, totes, sweatshirts, even quilt sashing. One customer ordered this last october for a set of matching napkins for a thanksgiving dinner, she stitched it in the corner of each one and said guests kept asking where she bought them from.

The density is 205 and the digitising in professional digitising tools kept the directional fills running with the natural grain of each leaf shape. That detail matters more than people realise, when satin runs against the leaf vein direction it looks flat, when it runs with it the whole thing reads as dimensional. Add a tearaway stabiliser for woven fabrics like linen napkins or cotton poplin. Use cutaway if youre putting this on a fleece or sweatshirt material.

Text me if the download doesnt arrive after payment, sometimes spam filters eat the email. Avoid running this on dark olive green fabric without testing contrast first, the olive coloured leaves in the design can disappear into the background. Pick a light or neutral ground colour and all five thread colours come through properly. Add a topping on textured fabrics like waffle-knit or terry to stop the fabric peeking between the satin lines.

Skip synthetic blends if you want the colours to read warm. Natural cotton and linen hold autumn thread tones better than poly blends do, the colours stay truer wash after wash. Text me a quick note if you need the leaf colour palette adjusted for a different season and Ill prep the file.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Thanksgiving napkin corner accentThanksgiving napkin corner accent, a customer stitched a set and said guests kept asking where she bought them.
  • Left chest t-shirt placementLinen table runner border strip repeating along the edge, the compact height leaves room for a centrepiece design.

  • Fall apron hem bandCanvas tote lower front panel where the horizontal leaf cluster sits at the base like a botanical label.
  • Tote bag front lower panelCotton tee left chest placement, the 3.5 wide by 1.63 tall proportion suits a chest badge rather than a centrepiece.
  • Pillow cover long edge accentKitchen runner hem border stitched before finishing the edges, tearaway on firm cotton twill removes cleanly.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
