I designed this one last september when a bunch of my wholesale customers were specifically asking for a fall wreath that wasnt too fussy. Five colours, 10,151 stitches, density 122, which is on the lighter side and that was intentional. Lower density on a wreath like this means the leaf shapes stay crisp without the fabric bunching up under all those overlapping satin columns. The colour palette is 5 tones: burnt orange, amber, rust, gold, and brown. Thats it. No green, no red, pure autumn, proper fall feeling.

One customer ordered three of these lil wreaths for a set of kitchen towels she was gifting her mum last november. She ran them all on linen with a light tearaway stabiliser and said they came out better than she expected, the leaf veins stitched out clean even at the tighter curves. That tracks with how I digitised it, the vein lines use a directional satin stitch rather than a split stitch, so they follow the leaf shape properly without pulling. professional digitising software handled the layering sequence aswell, so the overlapping leaves come out in the right order automatically.

At 3.7 inches wide, this fits a standard 4x4 hoop with a lil room to spare. Stitch it onto cushion covers, tote bags, autumn wreaths on sweatshirts, it works wherever ya want a seasonal centrepiece. Pair midweight cutaway with stretchy fabric and a tearaway on woven cotton or linen. Skip the topping unless youre working on terry cloth or fleece.
