Three maple leaves in scarlet, amber and golden yellow, grouped together with each one tilted at a different angle so they dont look placed by a graphic designer. The classic five-lobe maple shape, the kind of leaf kids draw in october. One sits upright in the centre, the other two fan out left and right, with the stems converging toward the same imagined point like they fell together off the same branch.

Vein detail is stitched in, a central spine running stem to tip on each lobe with lighter side veins branching off. The directional satin fill runs along those vein lines rather than crossways, which is what makes each leaf look like a real leaf surface rather than a flat colour block. Five colours: deep scarlet red on the largest leaf, amber orange on the second, golden yellow as the third dominant tone, warm brown for stems and vein outlines, and olive green on a few edge sections so the palette doesnt read as entirely autumnal-orange.

Stitch range is 11,699 at the smallest to 30,167 at the 7.1-inch wide maximum. Solid mid-weight density at 567 per square centimetre, not featherlight but nothing your machine cant handle with standard tearaway on cotton. Use a light cutaway on anything going on fabric that sees regular washing, the leaf fills are dense enough that puckering can happen on laundered cotton if the stabiliser is too thin.

A customer told me she ordered this last autumn for a set of place mats, she ran all 5 sizes and used a different leaf scale for each seat at the table. Smart way to do a coordinated set without buying multiple designs. Stitch it on cream linen, oatmeal cotton or sage green where the red and orange really contrast. On dark fabric go with the deepest scarlet leaf as your dominant colour and let the olive green do the contrast work.

And because Im asked this a alot: all 8 formats are in the zip, machine-ready from the download. Contact me if something isnt right and Ill fix it same day.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
