Wide horizontal harvest border, five chunky pumpkins lined up together, sizes mixed from a tall cream pumpkin in the middle to shorter wider orange ones beside it. Brown twisted stems on every pumpkin, dark green leaves and curling vines fill the gaps and the tendrils run off both ends so the design feels like its growing out of nothing. Six colours, four sizes, ranging 4.49 inches wide on the smallest up to 7.49 wide on the largest. Heights run 1.92 to 3.2 inches because, you know its a border not a square.

Stitch counts go from 13,792 on the small up to 26,154 on the largest. Density measures 1091 which is high, this is a heavy dense design so use a strong stabiliser, dont try this on lightweight cotton without a layer of medium cutaway underneath. I digitised it in my digitising suite with directional satin running along the curve of each pumpkins ribs so the shading lines read like actual gourd shadows, not just random fills.

One customer in iowa wrote me last thanksgiving telling me she stitched the 6.5-inch version across the end of a cream linen table runner and her mother-in-law asked if she had bought it from williams sonoma. The leaves were the part that sold it, the dark green sits right on top of the orange and frames the cluster.

Best fabrics, cream linen, natural cotton duck, kona solid in cream or sage, or quilters cotton in muted tones. Avoid stretchy jersey, the density will pull the knit out of shape. Use medium cutaway plus a tearaway topping if your fabric has nap. Pair with halloween or thanksgiving lettering above the row for a custom tea towel. Skip the smallest size for the runner, you want at least the 5.5 wide for proper table presence.

Message me if you want this pulled apart into a single pumpkin trim file, the centre cream one or the orange end one works as a standalone motif at 2-inch size.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
