This lil baby bath scene is kinda impossible not to love. The baby has those enormous cartoon eyes with thick lash lines, a deep pink bow sitting on top of her dark hair, and this expression like shes mildly offended by the bath but going along with it. The tub is a proper clawfoot style with orange feet underneath, and theres a yellow rubber duck sitting right beside her at the rim with small splashy water lines all around the edges.

industry-grade software mapped the 14 colour sequence cleanly across the pink bow, black hair, skin tone, pale pink cheeks, dark outline, white eye whites, light blue water, medium blue tub interior, orange tub feet, orange rubber duck, light grey bubble highlights, black final outline, and the two foam-edge colours at the waterline. With fourteen stops across five sizes, the digitising keeps the colour order consistent whether youre running the 2.86-inch or the full 6.13-inch version.

At the largest size you're looking at 46,077 stitches across 14 colours and five hoop sizes, all mapped with directional satin on the bow, dense fill for the tub body, and a fine underlay under the skin tones so the base fabric doesnt show through. Use cutaway stabiliser on stretch fabrics like onesie cotton or interlock knit. Tearaway works fine on woven cotton. Pair with a topping on terry cloth towels or you'll lose the detail in the pile.

One customer asked about running the three-inch size on a burp cloth and I told them to use a light cutaway and go slow on the dense sections. They sent me a photo after and it came out clean. Best fabric for the full 6-inch is a flat white or cream flannel where all 14 colour stops really show up without any interference from the background weave.

Stitch it on baby onesies, bibs, hooded towels, or nursery pillows. Use a 75/11 needle for onesie fabric and a 90/14 if youre going into heavier cotton canvas for a nursery wall hanging.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Baby onesie or bodysuit for a newborn giftUse the 3-inch size on a standard onesie chest with cutaway stabiliser behind the knit to keep the satin columns from pulling
  • Hooded bath towel for a baby shower presentThe 5-inch size fits perfectly on the front panel of a hooded baby towel made from terry cloth, use topping to protect the detail
  • Nursery pillow or crib quilt squareStitch the 4-inch version onto a plain cotton pillow cover for a nursery shelf display piece
  • Cotton bib or burp cloth setThe 3-inch size on a white cotton bib gives a clean result with tearaway stabiliser on the flat woven section
  • Kids bathroom hand towelRun the 4-inch on a kids bathroom hand towel in white or pale yellow for a bath-theme set
  • Personalised baby gift bag or toteUse the smallest 2.86-inch size on a canvas tote bag as part of a baby shower gift bundle
  • Framed hoop nursery wall artStitch onto natural linen, leave the hoop on, and hang directly as nursery wall art in a 6-inch wooden hoop

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
