Its a baby chick but nobody told it to look neat. The feathers are everywhere, all spiky and going in every direction like it just got towel-dried. Body is a deep magenta pink which I know sounds odd for a chick, but it works because of the mustard yellow beak and those massive round blue eyes. A plumeria flower sits right up top between the ear tufts. Sweet little detail that lifts the whole thing from goofy to charming.

Down at the feet theres a tiny blue puddle and a few scattered water drops, so the lil bird looks like it just waded through something. Eleven colours in total going from the warm golds on the beak and feet through to the pinks, blues and cream chest patch. my digitising suite did the directional stitching on the feathers properly, each one fans outward from the body so they dont look like a solid pink blob. Big difference in the final stitch-out.

I made this for baby boutique orders and kids clothing shops. Heres the thing people dont realise: pink animal designs sell just as well on boys items as girls ones at the toddler age, nobody cares yet. And the flower on the head is kinda just a bonus detail that the mums absolutely love. I get messages from baby farm boutique owners every spring asking if its available for easter window displays.

Pop the 4.5-inch on a white cotton bib and the chick sits right in the centre with room around it. Stitch the 7.5-inch on a cream onesie back panel for a proper statement piece. Skip dark fabrics here, the pink feathers and blue puddle both read better on pale grounds. Pair it with a simple name underneath in a round font and its done.

Hoop tight on a medium tearaway for woven cotton. Switch to cutaway stabiliser for anything stretchy. The feather fills run at decent density so dont rush the machine speed. And the eye area has satin column work that needs a slow, steady pass. Holler at me if the download gives you grief and ill get it sorted straight away.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
