Baby cow, front-facing, massive round eyes taking up most of the face. The ears flop out wide to each side the way a real calfs ears do, the body patches are the classic holstein black on white, and the nose is that little upturned pink button shape. Its genuinely hard to look at this without making a noise. Seven colour changes to get through the full palette, white base, black patches, the pink of the nose, a soft brown around the eye rims, light grey ear interiors. Stitch count runs from 30,089 at the smallest 4.45-inch up to 55,168 at the biggest 7.41-inch.

And the stitch density at 993 matters here because baby animal designs are supposed to look a bit stuffed-toy like in the final result. The satin columns that fill the white body areas need to be consistent and the underlay tight, otherwise you get that pulled-thread look where the fabric shows through unevenly. Cutaway stabiliser is not optional for this one, its 55k stitches on a design thats around 7.5 inches tall at maximum. Use a soft cutaway on jersey, medium-weight on woven cotton. Skip tearaway entirely.

Farm nursery decor and babygrow personalisation are the main uses I see from customers. People buy this for kids rooms, baby shower gifts, toddler tee sets. My sister ordered it last spring for her daughters first birthday party because they had a farm theme, she was putting it on small canvas tote bags as party favours. The 4.45-inch fit neatly on the front panel without hitting the side seams.

Hoop stably on a hooped-through base, dont float this one or the patch edges will shift mid-run. Check your bobbin before starting a multipiece run, 7 colour changes across 55k stitches drains it fast. Pop a fresh 80/12 needle in before you stitch this if youre coming off a fine-needle project.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Baby nursery wall hoop or farm themed decorStretched on a 9-inch hoop on cream muslin, the 6-inch works as nursery wall art above a changing table; the lash detail shows at that size.
  • Babygrow or onesie chest embroideryCotton interlock babygrow at the 4.45-inch with a soft cutaway stabiliser so the knit base doesnt distort under the 30k-plus stitch count.
  • Kids farm birthday party tote bagSmall canvas tote party favour bags at the 4.45-inch fit on the front panel of a standard 6-inch wide bag easily; great for farm theme baby showers.
  • Toddler tee or sweatshirt front panelToddler sweatshirt chest at the 5-inch in the full 7-colour palette on a white or light grey base; the patches read as genuinely hand-drawn at this size.
  • Baby shower gift personalised pouchSmall cotton drawstring pouch as a baby shower gift bag at the 4.45-inch pairs well with a personalised name underneath; tearaway behind cotton works cleanly.
  • Childs backpack or school bag patchKids canvas backpack front patch at the 5-inch; secure with cutaway and iron-on stabiliser on the back before attachment so it lays flat.
  • Crib quilt corner accent designQuilt corner accent at the 4.45-inch repeated across the four corners of a lap or crib quilt; one customer sent me a photo, it looked amazing.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
