The baby cow is a lil round calf standing square with those oversized eyes and floppy ears that just get ya. Seven colours give it the full Holstein look, black and white cow patches, pink muzzle, cream belly and dark hooves. Its head is a bit oversized relative to the body which is what makes it read as a calf rather than a grown cow.
Stitch count runs up to 56,968 on the big sizes, thats a solid complex piece. The cow body uses a dense satin fill with directional stitching so the colour reads clean without any gapping. Digitising on the muzzle kept a lighter fill density so the pink sits soft and natural. Pop cutaway under this one, tearaway on thick denim or canvas if the fabric is firm enough.
I sell a bunch of these for country baby showers and farm nurseries. Last spring a customer asked if she could get nine sizes in the file, and they were all there already. She was suprised and told me she went with the 4-in piece on a muslin blanket corner and the 6 inch on a cotton pillow sham.
Available in 9 sizes from 3.47 up to 7.45 inches wide. Pick cotton, denim, canvas or fleece. Those bold cow patches really sing on a light oatmeal or cream background, thats the combo Ive seen look best. Skip anything with a heavy texture or open weave since the fine muzzle details need smooth backing.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
