A baby crocodile, kawaii style, big round eyes, chubby body, making a little heart shape with both front claws. its honestly a piece where you can tell alot of thought went into the scale work. The body uses a combination of tatami fill with satin panel edges to make the scales look almost three-dimensional, each one slightly raised from the ones around it. The beige belly contrasts against the multiple greens used across the back and tail. Theres small detail on the snout showing just the tips of the teeth, which keeps it cute rather than scary.

Eight colours and a density of 1,080 at the reference size puts this firmly in the heavy category. Stitch count runs 16,618 at the smallest 2.47 x 2.5 inch size all the way to 60,037 at the full 7.41 x 7.5. Thats a real machine workout at the largest size. Hoop on a stable cutaway stabiliser for every size, the multi-layer scale sections need solid anchoring or the density creates tension issues. Slow the machine speed on the dense body sections if youre stitching the 5 inch and up sizes.

Customers are mostly ordering this one for kids items, nursery decor and bedroom cushions. Last month I had several buyers doing it for baby shower gifts and they told me its always the item people asked about first on the table. Hoop it on plush cotton or fleece for nursery projects and use the 4 or 5 inch size, the texture stays readable without needing the full large size. Send me a note if anything looks off in the file.

Behind every stitch

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
