Seven colors, stacked elephants, and my niece stitched this on a muslin swaddle blanket for her sister's baby shower last spring. She said it came out so well people thought she'd bought it. Thats exactly the kind of project this design handles best, something soft and washable a parent actually uses, not just hangs on a wall. Really.
The two calves sit up top like mama's giving them a ride, and the composition reads clearly even at the chest-size 3.5. The big eyelashes on the mama are what give it that nursery feel, without them its just grey. Back it with a lightweight cutaway on stretchy fabrics and a medium tearaway on cotton. This one hits nearly 69,000 stitches at 7.5 inch so you want a stable base. Use a topping on terry cloth or minky so the fine detail doesnt sink into the pile.
Pop a sheet of medium tearaway under your cotton before hooping and keep the hoop tight. Seven colours means six changes total, perfectly manageable on any home machine. The grey and black threads carry most of the stitch count, the pink only comes in for the ears and cheek highlights.
Stitch the 3.5-in feature on a bib front or burp cloth panel, theres enough space for the design and a name tag right alongside it. Nine sizes in the pack, 3.51 inch up to 7.51 inch. Send a note if anything looks off and Ill resolve it.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
