Heres the trio of baby elephants and theyre real sweet. Three lil elephants standing side by side, all front-facing. Left one has its trunk raised mid-trumpet. Middle one is a chubby lil baby just standing chill with both ears fanned out. Right one looks like its mid-laugh with the trunk curled.

The whole design is line art style. Ink black contours carry the outlines and the shading lines on the bodies. Soft warm grey fill sits inside the bellies and round the ears for that bit of dimension. Three colours total. Black, grey, and a tiny bit of white for the highlights round the eyes.

I drew this last christmas thinking of my niece who was obsessed with the elephant page in her storybook, she kept pointing at the chubby middle one. So I gave the middle baby that round belly and stocky little legs to match. I shipped a bundle of these to a baby-shower planner in austin last february and her photos still get likes.

Stitch on cream cotton, soft grey, oat linen or pale yellow for warmest read. White cotton works lovely too, especially for nursery cot quilts. Skip dark navy or black, ya wont see the soft grey fill at all, the line art will lose dimension. Skip patterned fabric because three characters need negative space to read clean.

Density runs medium-light at 13,389 to 32,610 stitches across 9 sizes. The design is tall and narrow, around 1.65 inches wide and 7.5 inches tall on largest. Use mid-weight cutaway on cotton, tear-away on a baby blanket panel. Hoop firm, ease the rpm during the trunk and ear directional fill runs. Holler through whatsapp if a colour change skips on your version.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Baby shower banner panelsStitch the largest size on a cream linen banner panel and hang it across a nursery doorway for baby shower decor.
  • Cot quilt vertical centre stripsPlace the medium size as a tall vertical strip down a cot quilt, the trio fills the long format perfect.
  • Toddler tee front printsPop the small size on the chest pocket of a toddler tee, all three babies fit in a tight horizontal row.
  • Nursery wall hoops in tall framesHoop the medium version in a 9-inch tall narrow frame for a nursery wall, the proportions suit slim wall spaces.
  • Burp cloth and bib cornersAdd a tiny size to the corner of a cotton burp cloth, the line art reads gentle on baby skin.
  • Diaper caddy fabric labelsStitch on a small fabric label for a diaper caddy or toy basket, the trio gives storage a sweet personalised touch.
  • Christening gift handkerchiefsPlace the small size on a folded white linen handkerchief and gift it as a christening or first-birthday keepsake.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
