Heres the baby sea seal pup and shes pure chibi ocean cuteness. Round teal body. Tiny flippers tucked at the sides. A two-lobed mint tail flicked out behind. Two huge dark blue eyes with white sparkle highlights and a pair of soft pink cheek dots. A small balloon cluster floats up off the left flipper which gives the whole thing a birthday vibe.

Thirteen colours layer into this design which is alot for a small embroidery, but every colour earns its place. Aqua plus teal handle the body gradient. Mint highlights the belly and tail. Deep navy lines the eye sockets and outline edges, white packs the belly band and eye highlights, soft pink dots the cheeks and balloon trio, and dark blue carries the balloon strings. Honestly its a real workout for your machine but the result reads like a sticker.

What I love about this one is how the body shading sells depth. The aqua-to-teal blend on the back creates real volume. Pink cheeks plus oversized eyes hit that kawaii sweet spot kids respond to instantly. Last March one customer ordered the 7.5 run for her daughters first birthday quilt and the centre panel held up beautifully through three washes. Sent photos and everything, said its now her favourite.

Stitch on plain white, cream, pale yellow or pastel mint for cleanest read. Pop a 4-in piece on a baby onesie chest or a swaddle corner. Pair on a soft pink or pale blue nursery pillow for cot decor. Stitch large for a quilt center panel. Pass on black tee fabric here, the pale teal seal fades against deep grounds and you wont see the cheek pink at all. Avoid jersey aswell on the smallest size, the eye highlights are too fine for stretch fabric.

Density runs heavy at 50k stitches on the biggest 7.5 inch size, 18k on smallest, with 12 colour changes and 120 trims. Use a heavy cutaway stabiliser on knit or fleece, plus a water-soluble topping for the small detail satin. Hoop firm. The colour gradient depends on consistent tension or youll see pulling between the lighter ocean tones and darker fill sections. Drop a chat photo if a fill reads thin on canvas.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
