Nine colours and a circle. The frame itself is navy, a thick rounded ring sitting in the centre, and at the top theres a chunky pink bow holding it together like a gift. Bottom left you get the crayons, one pink and one teal, and a small pink apple nestled against them. Bottom right the lime green scissors sit open at an angle. The centre is left empty, which is the whole point. Youre supposed to put a name in there, or a grade, or a monogram, either with a second thread pass or by leaving it as a photo frame hoop.
I built this one back in august because I had 3 different teachers in my immediate circle who all wanted something for their classroom bags and first day of school tee shirts. The 9 colours sound like alot but industry-grade software digitised the colour changes cleanly, theres 8 stops in total, and theyre in a logical order so you dont end up doing weird re-hooping. One customer emailed me after getting the file and said she ran the 4.5-inch version on cotton poplin for her daughters first day photo and it turned out great.
Stitch count is 6,547 at the smallest and 16,744 at the largest across 9 sizes, ranging from 3.16 x 3.5 inches up to 6.75 x 7.51 inches. The colour fills are mostly satin with an underlay pass built in, so even the teal crayon body comes out clean without show-through. Use topping film over any stretch fabric, the crayon shapes are narrow and prone to sinking into knit pile. Avoid running it on jersey without cutaway stabiliser. Pop a medium cutaway under woven cotton as a precaution on the smaller sizes. Email me if you have any trouble opening the files and Ill resend them immediately.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
