The concept here is clever and thats what makes people respond to it. Its a heart, but the outline of the heart is made from two baseball seam curves meeting at the top and coming to the point at the bottom. The thick black satin column forms the full heart boundary, and inside each half the red lace-stitch seam lines run along the curve just like they would on a real baseball. From across the room its a heart. Up close you see the seam detail.
Two thread colours: black for the satin outline and red for the seam lines inside. Stitch counts go from 3,837 at the smallest 1.9 inch size up to 14,459 at the full 6.6 inches wide. Six sizes total, so you can use the tiny version for a bag tag or hat accent and the large version as a statement chest piece. Last spring a customer told me shed stitched this on shirts for her daughters whole softball team and the coach cried. Thats the kind of message that makes my day honestly.
Stitch this on cotton, canvas, denim, or polyester blend sports fabric. Use cutaway stabiliser on stretch material like jerseys. For woven fabrics like canvas bags or cotton tees, tearaway works fine. Pop it on a baseball mom tee at 4-5 inches for the classic left-chest placement, or go big at 6 inches centred on the back for a statement piece. Skip very thin silky fabric because the satin column can pull at the larger sizes.
People use this for baseball and softball team gifts, player jerseys, mom shirts, and bags for the whole season. Its one of those shapes that reads instantly without lettering.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Baseball mom tee shirt left chest placementAt 4-5 inches on the left chest of a plain tee it gives the classic baseball mom look without any text needed.
- Softball team matching shirts and jerseysOn matching softball team shirts it works as a shared graphic that unifies the team and shows love of the sport.
- Player gift bags and drawstring pouchesStitched on a small canvas gift pouch it makes a personalised end-of-season gift for each player.
- Baseball cap front panel at smaller sizesAt the smaller 1.9-2 inch size it fits nicely on the front panel of a baseball cap for a clean team hat.
- Sports duffel bag or equipment bag accentOn the front pocket or panel of a sports duffel it marks the bag as a baseball item without being too literal.
- End-of-season team gift towels and pouchesOn a cotton hand towel it becomes a simple but personal gift for coaches or team parents at the season wrap up.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
