Heart shape, but its a baseball. The whole heart carries white tatami fill with a thick black satin outline around the edge, and running down each lobe are the red curved seam lines you recognise from any baseball or softball. Two lines per side, bracketing the centre seam point. Thats it. 2 colours, 1 colour change, clean and done.
Its the kind of design that sells consistently because it says exactly one thing without being fussy. I get notes about this from softball mums every spring, team bags, team hats, spirit tees before tryouts. The red seam lines run as industry tools satin columns so they look like real stitched seams rather than a printed curve, theres actual texture to em. Nine sizes from 3.17 inches up to 6.77 inches.
Stitch counts run from 6k on the small end up to nearly 14k on the biggest. Light and fast on any machine. Just 53 trims on the 3.17-inch size. Use a light fusible mesh under on woven or a cutaway on any stretch jersey. The heavy satin outline needs a stable base or the outer edge waves when you unpeel the hoop. A customer sent me photos last april of the 5-inch on a navy softball bag, seam lines came out crisp and the white fill sat flat.
Works on basically any background colour because its white, red and black. Navy blue is the classic baseball team look. Grey is great for spirit wear. Dont overthink it, just avoid white fabric because the heart fill disappears into it. Pop on red fabric and only the black outline and red seams read, which is actually a kinda cool stripped-back version.
